Durjanpur, the story begins with a poor child (Raghu) whose father (Ramkhilwan) is deeply in debt. Raghu's mother had passed away as soon as he was born. To get rid of his debt, Ramkhilwan commits suicide, leaving Raghu orphaned. Ramkhilwan had also borrowed from Ghanshyam Das of the village after his death. And after reaching another village, he starts working in a small dhaba and doing the same work, Raghu grows up.
